About Maplewood Farmers Market
The Maplewood Farmers Market was founded in 1996 by a group of local farmers who wanted a direct connection to the community they fed. What began as eight vendors in a church parking lot has grown into one of the region's most vibrant farmers markets, with over 60 vendors and thousands of weekly visitors.
Our Mission
To strengthen the local food system by providing a vibrant marketplace where farmers, food producers, and artisans connect directly with the community, promoting sustainable agriculture, healthy eating, and economic vitality.
Community Impact
The Maplewood Farmers Market generates over $1.5 million in annual sales for local businesses, accepts SNAP/EBT benefits with a dollar-matching program, and donates unsold produce to the Maplewood Food Pantry at the end of every market day.
